Our teachers

The people who teach here

A small team of specialists, each teaching the instrument they love. You learn one to one, every week, with the same teacher.

About the school

Small, steady and here for the long run

Northgate opened its doors in 2012 and has been part of Cheetham Hill ever since. We stay small on purpose, so every student is known and every lesson counts.

David Okafor, our director, teaches voice and looks after the school. The rest of the team each specialise in one instrument, so you always learn from someone who plays it well.
